Hi, I’m Grace.
I’m a student at Rice university studying computer science and cognitive science (double cs haha). My interests lie in software development and UX design. I enjoy designing intuitive interfaces, coding innovative solutions, exploring behavioral/neuro psychology, and creating fun illustrations. Thus, I would love to use a blend of all of these things to create impactful user experience and enhance day to day life.

Outside of academics, I work in a human factors psychology lab that focuses on driving perception, specifically those regarding safety. This includes doing research on traffic perception of individuals with age-related macular degeneration and truck perception at night. I am also part of Break Through Tech AI, a data science, ML, and AI initiative started by Cornell University. Within school, I am also involved in clubs such as Rice Design, Neurotech, and others.

In my spare time, when I am not coding or designing, I love drawing, reading, and hanging out with friends.
I believe that...
technology has the potential to transform lives. Therefore, app and web interfaces should enhance the user’s quality of life. My passion lies in creating accessible, user-friendly solutions that not only solve problems but also enhances and empowers communities and individuals. This translates into my design as I strive to create interfaces that are not only visually appealing but intuitive as well.

Beyond that I believe that lifelong learning is essential in the fast-paced industry known as tech. Thus I always approach projects with curiosity and adaptability, seeking innovative and creative solutions.
